EFFECT OF MnO2 CONCENTRATIONS ON PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE (K0.436Na0.5Li0.064)Nb0.92Sb0.08O3 LEAD-FREE PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC SYSTEM
Abstract
This paper presents the results of the synthesis on the physical properties of the lead-free piezoelectric ceramics of the (K0.436Na0.5Li0.064)Nb0.92Sb0.08O3 (KNLNS) doped with x % wt MnO2 (x = 0;2;4;6;8;10 % wt). The effect of MnO2 concentrations on physical properties of the ceramics has been studied and the best concentration of 6 % wt MnO2 determined. The physical properties of the ceramic composition of this MnO2 concentration are good such as ρ = 4.45 g/cm3, kt = 3.8, kp = 2.8, tanδ = 0.16, ε = 645, d31 =38.2 pC/N. The transfer of polymorphic phase transition (PPT) into rather low temperature (440C) and the effect of polarizing temperature on the physical properties of the ceramic system have been also studied and discussed.
