Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of green leadership on pro-environmental behavior amongst hotel employees in Thua Thien Hue province. Based on data from 397 hotel employees in Thua Thien Hue province, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were applied to analyze the data. The results found that green leadership has a direct impact on organizational green culture, employee green commitment, thereby influencing hotel employees’ pro-environmental behavior. Organizational green culture and employee green commitment play as full mediations on the relationship between green leadership and hotel employees’ pro-environmental behavior. Based on the findings, some managerial implications to promote hotel employees’ pro-environmental behavior have been recommended.
