Tóm tắt

Nghiên cứu này phân tích các yếu tố ảnh hưởng xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang EU trong bối cảnh Hiệp định thương mại tự do Liên minh châu Âu - Việt Nam (EVFTA) đã có hiệu lực bằng áp dụng mô hình trọng lực trong thương mại quốc tế. Kết quả ước lượng từ mô hình cho thấy, quy mô nền kinh tế, chênh lệch thu nhập và khoảng cách địa lý giữa hai bên có tác động lớn đến xuất khẩu của Việt Nam - EU. Ngược lại, tỷ giá hối đoái có tác động tiêu cực đến thương mại song phương hai bên. Trong khi đó, thuế quan không có ý nghĩa thống kê trong mô hình và không mang dấu hợp lý. Trên cơ sở đó, nghiên cứu khuyến nghị các chính sách nhằm thúc đẩy xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang EU.
