Abstract
Horror stories are a type of literature with important meanings in social life. Its appearance not only meets the needs and aesthetic tastes of readers but also contributes to promoting the modernization of Vietnamese literature. Horror stories also create the diversity and richness of national literature. This article focuses on object recognition, understanding its movement in terms of content, ideology and art form.
Vietnamese horror stories are formed and developed according to the principle of "accumulation", "fusion". It is the inheritance and promotion of traditional values of Vietnamese culture and literature, and at the same time acquiring and transforming the quintessence of world literature to form a type of literature with a unique appearance and character. own point. In terms of content, horror stories deeply express the community's consciousness, the atmosphere of the times as well as the cultural and historical imprints of the nation. In terms of expression, horror stories stand out in the writer's way of feeling and approach to life and especially through new and modern artistic techniques.
