Abstract

Moodle application in online training has been widely deployed since the early years of the 21st century. The level of implementation and effectiveness of the application has not really brought high efficiency, for many reasons such as: students, teachers are not really interested in this type of learning; the technology is barriers for most teachers and students; investing a lot of time and effort in course content while funding to support this work is limited, etc. However, since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of online training has become an inevitable solution for educational institutions, for teachers, and for students. The paper presents an overview of the research contents on applying the Moodle system in implementing online training activities at the Institute of Open Training and Information Technology - Hue University. At the same time, based on evaluating the results achieved from several implemented solutions, we propose some solutions for development the learning management system (LMS) on the Moodle platform operated by Institute to excute flexible online distance learning.
