Abstract
The obligation to provide information during the insurance contract formation stage is an important obligation of the parties in the insurance contract relationship. It helps the parties to accurately understand the necessary information to make a decision on whether to enter into an insurance contract or not. Currently, the insurance market in Vietnam has seen numerous disputes related to the obligation to provide information by the parties during the contract formation stage. Therefore, Vietnam's insurance business law needs further refinement of regulations related to this issue. Based on a comparison with French law regarding the obligation to provide information during the insurance contract formation stage, this article proposes necessary amendments to enhance Vietnam's insurance business Law.
