Trong những năm gần đây, trách nhiệm xã hội (TNXH) điểm đến ngày càng thu hút các nhà nghiên cứu trong lĩnh vực du lịch. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện dựa vào quy trình thống kê và xem xét các bài báo khoa học xuất bản trên các tạp chí Scopus và Web of Science (WoS). Sau đó thông qua phần mềm Endnote để loại trừ kết quả trùng lặp và phần mềm Bibliometrix để xác định xu hướng nghiên cứu TNXH điểm đến. Kết quả cho thấy rằng các nghiên cứu liên quan đến TNXH điểm đến du lịch được xuất bản trong khoảng thời gian từ năm 2013 đến năm 2022 và kết quả bài báo đã làm sáng tỏ các vấn đề về nhận thức TNXH điểm đến du lịch với hành vi có trách nhiệm của các bên liên quan cụ thể như du khách, cư dân, tổ chức quản lý điểm đến và các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ du lịch. Bên cạnh đó, nghiên cứu cũng góp phần vào những giá trị lý luận, phương pháp tiếp cận vấn đề, các nội dung nghiên cứu về TNXH điểm đến. Nghiên cứu này cũng góp phần cung cấp những định hướng cho các nghiên cứu TNXH điểm đến trong tương lai phù hợp với bối cảnh trong nước.
