Nevertheless, over the past two decades, the scholarly focus on the role of corporate social responsibility initiatives in employee green behaviour has grown, and the relationship between the two is complex and shaped by social, psychological, and organisational factors. The current paper presents a comprehensive bibliometric discourse that traces the intellectual map of research on the corporate social responsibility and employee green behaviour relationship, identifies the most significant contributors and theories, and outlines promising directions for future research. Using bibliometric performance analysis and science mapping of 243 articles indexed in Scopus between 2005 and 2025, the study identifies an essential increase in publication activity, with hospitality and tourism as one of the main settings and Asia as a predominant research area. The results show clear clusters of theories and themes that shape the discourse on corporate social responsibility and employee green behavior, and they also reveal conceptual gaps and insufficient cross-disciplinary integration. Based on these findings, the paper proposes specific recommendations for future studies and practice-based methods to explain how corporate social responsibility can promote voluntary green behaviours among employees. Integrating key strands of the existing literature, this review contributes to theoretical knowledge. It provides recommendations to managers, human resources professionals, and policymakers who want to integrate corporate social responsibility practices into enterprise management to better involve employees in sustainability.
