Abstract

Local culture is the characteristics, experiences, customs, spiritual products. . . of a collective or community in a certain land, capable of distinguishing it from other ethnic groups or localities. Local culture is not only an object of study but also tangible/intangible products that need to be passed on from generation to generation. In all levels of education, preschool education has an enlightening and fundamental meaning in every person's life. At this stage, it is very important to educate the children in the local traditional culture. This study will focus on clarifying the current situation of local cultural education, more specifically, education of literature, music and folk art for preschool children in Thua Thien Hue province - a land with a rich cultural background. The original culture is unique due to its own characteristics of History and Geography. It was the capital of the last feudal dynasty for several hundred years.
